Scrip Program

The Scrip program is designed to help raise funds for St. Mary's School while you do your shopping.  St. Mary's is able to buy gift cards at a reduced rate through the Scrip program.  When you buy Scrip gift cards through St. Mary's School, the difference between the face value of the card and the cost to St. Mary's for the card is profit.  Half of that profit will be credited to the account of the family you designate while the other half will go to the school's general fund.  The Adopt-a-Student program also has an account to which the proceeds can be credited.

"Scrip is a powerful fundraising tool because families generate revenue through purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with Scrip. An organization of 150 families easily spends between one and two million dollars per year on food, clothing, and other essentials. If these families use Scrip for these purchases, they can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year for their organization --without spending an additional penny."*

Grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, cousins, neighbors...anyone can participate!  Many nationwide chains participate, meaning that anyone from anywhere can participate!

Businesses: can any of your current expenses be funneled through a Scrip card?  gasoline?  office equipment?  computers?  If so, contact the school to see how your existing expenses can begin to benefit St. Mary's.

Young families with children younger than school age can now establish a Scrip account to start building up funds in anticipation of sending their children to St. Mary's!  Call the school to start your account (or one for your grandchildren or godchildren) today!
